The Seasonal Hair Loss is a natural process that occurs during certain times of the year, such as spring or autumn. Although it may cause concern, it is a temporary phenomenon and does not usually indicate a serious health problem.

This type of hair loss is related to the hair growth cycle, which includes three phases: growth (anagen), transitional (catagen) and resting and pre-hair loss (telogen). During seasonal changes, a greater number of hair follicles enter the telogen phase, resulting in a visible increase in hair shedding.

In contrast to Alopecia, Seasonal Hair Loss maintains hair density and volume. It is completely normal and temporary.
