Alopecia Areata is an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss in specific areas of the scalp or other parts of the body, such as eyebrows, eyelashes or beard. The immune system mistakenly attacks the hair follicles, which interrupts the hair growth cycle and causes hair shedding.
It manifests as completely smooth round or oval patches. In severe cases, it may progress to hair loss on the scalp (alopecia totalis) or all over the body (alopecia universalis).
There may be episodes of hair loss followed by partial or complete hair regrowth, although relapses are common.
Alopecia Areata can be hereditary and affects children and adults of any age, most commonly those under 20 years of age. Severe stress is a possible cause, but this is difficult to prove. It is not unusual for the condition to stop suddenly or even last for months or years.
1.3 Dixidox de Luxe Peeling (200ML) | (500ML): Apply the exfoliant to your dry or damp scalp and massage. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Use once a week.
3.1 Dixidox de Luxe Intense Shampoo (200ML) | (500ML) & 2.1 Dixidox de Luxe Antidandruff Shampoo (200ML) | (500ML): Apply to the hair, massaging gently until it lathers. Leave on for a few minutes and rinse. It is recommended to alternate between the shampoos.
3.4.5B Science-7 de Luxe essential Oils: Apply about 15 drops directly to the scalp and massage gently to aid the penetration of the active ingredients. Do not rinse. Use daily at night.
3.4.5A Science-7 de Luxe Lotion: Apply 2 or 3 pipettes of the product each morning to the affected areas. The minimum recommended period is three months
Continue the treatment with:
4.4.1 Royal Jelly + Green O2 de Luxe Lotion: Spray 8 to 10 times onto the scalp, massaging until fully absorbed. Apply 2 to 3 times per week after washing the hair for a minimum of three months.
We recommend the application of:
4.2 Dixidos de Luxe Triple Action Conditioner (200ML)| (500ML): Apply to damp hair from mid-lengths to ends after washing. Leave on for about 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
